What up Yo its Av! I just dropped my second album Sweet American Boy - im proud as hell of this project man. t The album feels like the bridge between who yall met me as when “I’d Rather Overdose” dropped and  and who I'm becoming after seeing the country and parts of the world on tour. I feel like I picked up so much from the amazing fans and musicians / artists Ive been able to meet. . Some moments it's just my feelings and a guitar, others it’s a big ass fusion of the bands that I grew up listening to. It's all about my experience surviving, making mistakes, and trying to stay grounded when my whole world shifts overnight. I can't wait to come back out to Australia in January next year. We had such a blast tearing down arenas  in April with mgk and I am so excited to come back for my own headline run!!! Give the album a spin and hopefully I'll see you at a show in January.

Blue Oyster Cult - (Don't Fear) The Reaper

It's got great lyrics. It's a song that just has a lot of meaning. It really gets me in the zone. 

Mac Miller  - Love Lost

This is a childhood song of mine. Mac Miller kind of raised me. I remember singing Mac Miller in the shower, smoking a cigarette at like 12 years old. Any Mac Miller means a lot but Love Lost holds a lot of meaning for me. 

mgk - Don't Let Me Go

I've been listening to this a lot lately. It's a song that really changed the way that I view writing. 

Lil' Troy - Wanna Be A Baller

That's like a childhood song that feels nostalgic for me. It's put you in the zone. It's like '09 all of a sudden and you're in a car with a roof is like shedding in your eyes whenever the wind blows and Lil' Troy's playing. 

Marvin Gaye - Ain't No Mountain High Enough

That's a banger. It's a song that reminds me of my Mom. Love to sing that song! 

Mac Miller - Weekend

That's a tour anthem for us. We were playing that on the bus. It's gives me a real nostalgic tour vibe. 

Green Day  - Brain Stew

This song reminds me of my brothers, growing up in a hot ass house with no AC, blaring Brain Stew, smoking cigarettes. 

Hank Williams Jr  - Family Traditions

Another f**kin tour anthem. We were screaming this on the bus every single day!

I mean this song has a lot of meaning. It's a deep song, it means a lot to me and to a lot of people. 

Blink-182 - Adam's Song

I love Blink 182. Adam's song is about a really touchy subject. It means a lot to me.
