Australian garage-punk quartet Crocodylus announce their forthcoming album Limbo, please be good to me, set for release April 24 via ORiGiN Recordings. Today, the band also share their new track ‘Attention’.
Coming together during a period of change, Limbo, please be good to me is a byproduct of maturing as a group of songwriters. Working with producer Wade Keighran, Crocodylus turn away from conventional song structures, limiting bar chords and run through a kaleidoscope of softer, sympathetic cuts. Across the record, they charge through all stops of self-doubt and apprehension to reshape what is possible within the confines of their project.
Peace de Resistance - Boston dynamics
Very cool lofi glamour kinda punk. If trex and the stooges had collaborated I feel it could’ve been something like this.
The Innocents - Answer Me
Been listening to a lot of power pop recently and found this gem. Power pop straight from Tasmania
The Amps - Pacer
Love this one album Kim Deal did under The Amps to take a break from The Breeders.
Pavement - Grounded
Listening to pavement a lot lately. Inspiring the lyrics and riffs for album number 3.
Sextile - Lost Myself Again
This song sounds sweaty. Picture yourself in a rave.
Cola - Keys down if you stay
We were listening to a lot of cola throughout the writing process of the album. One song that was heavily inspired by this song didn’t make the cut unfortunately.
Primus - Shake Hands With Beef
What a song title
Harry Sings - From the window of my cell -
A lovely little number from one of the members of Uranium Club. Really like the xylophone in this one.
Puffer - Concrete Jungle
Saw Canadian outfit Puffer just recently for free in Enmore. Great show, great band
Alice Cooper - Long Way To Go
Rockin track this one
