Orbits & Echoes is a seven-track EP that marks a turning point in my songwriting practice, and the vinyl feels like the most complete expression of that world. It’s a record shaped by instinct, collaboration and movement — something intimate and cinematic that I wanted to exist physically, as an object you can return to, hold onto, and hear unfold in full.
These are some of my most regular go-to songs at the moment, the ones always hitting the emotional centre for me. They all inspire me in different ways, whether through production, feeling, lyricism or atmosphere, and they’re the kinds of tracks I keep coming back to.
Bonobo - Migration
This track always pulls me into a really expansive headspace. It feels cinematic, fluid and deeply grounding all at once.
Little Dragon - Twice
There’s something so raw and exposed about this song. I come back to it for how tender and emotionally direct it feels.
Children of Zeus - Vibrations (Divine Signature)
Literally straight from the source this one.
Blood Orange - Mind Loaded
This one feels hazy and intimate in a way I’m always drawn to. I love how understated it is while still carrying so much emotion.
Sampha - Plastic 100°C
This track really lives in its own world. It feels vulnerable, futuristic and emotionally overwhelming in the best way.
Yussef Kamaal - Black Focus
I’m always inspired by the movement in this one. It feels alive, intricate and completely locked into its own pulse.
SBTRKT - Forward
This track has such a strong sense of momentum. I love how spacious it feels while still carrying so much weight. SBTRKT is an OG favourite always.
Hermitude - Flush With Love
There’s something really playful and euphoric about this one. It always lifts me and reminds me how powerful feeling can be in production.
André 3000 - I swear, I really wanted to make a “rap” album but this is literally the way the wind blew me this time
I love how free this feels as a piece of music. It’s a reminder to follow instinct and let the work become what it wants to be.
Stormzy - Give It to the Water
This track feels reflective and deeply human to me. I keep coming back to the honesty in it and the sense of release it holds.
